I just heard that the one and only Miz Teena Marie has died - 12/26/2010. I am deeply saddened by her sudden passing. She had the voice of an angel, so surely she is singing in heaven with the angels now. Rest in sweet eternal peace, Lady T. Much respect and love; you are missed. ^j^ ^j^ ^j^

Whooo hoo! Teena rocks it out on Showtime at the Apollo! She sings, she raps, she dances, she plays guitar! Is there anything this legendary singer can't do? I doubt it! Go on , Teena, with your baad self!

This is an audience member's recording?? check the same performance done on youtube by BriNora5. This is the same show - just a superior sound playback... and we begin to realize the great role sound men play in great performers lives...

This specific performance was due to bad recording and shit sound equipment... This is a fairly recent performance - Only saying that because of Teena's later "wide vabrato" she uses to hold notes out, which wasn't in her vocal register in younger years... I am sure she didn't get a solid sound check for this performance... She rates far above this recording - and the talent backing her up was the best in the industry... So, I can't understand it... but, it's ours now, and I cherish it

I truly luv African Americans for staying true to Teena. this might have not been her best performance but she is still my favorite. I have never heard any negative remarks about Teena especially in the Black community thanks for making her music a LEGEND
