How to Crochet Beanies : How to Size Up Your Beanie Hat

Sorry if this is a repeat, but I thought I left a comment on another clip, now I seem to not be able to find it(duh)lol..? I have been tryin to make an oversized beanie for days now...im confused, when do u actually start subtracting stitches, immediately after you add them, or later after you have achieved the perferred length? I really appreciate your videos, it was a big help in starting to crochet...but Please HELP! :-)

i know right? everytime i click on a "how to make a beanie" vid from EV, it never shows actually "how" to make one, just lil tips
