this is called "Musou Battlefield", you can edit existing stages: change officers, change peon types etc.

before you start a stage, you have the option to pick officer requests i.e defeat 600 within 3mins etc. If you complete it, your bond with that character will increase.

You can do the Musou Kaiden if you have the Verity Skill, it lets you use it regardless of health status.
