@Dagashi6669 You get away with so much more with a guitar in a hard case rather than a 'gig bag' which is a heavily padded bag type thing. To break a guitar of the quality of a Taylor in the place it broke (at the headstock/neck joint I believe) you would have to be REALLY heavy handed with it. Almost to the point of dropping the case from a great height or 'nose down'

One of the recurring conversations online among sax players is, "How do I get this massively protected, solidly constructed instrument to my destination, without it being stolen or smashed?" Best suggestion yet (if you can do it) is to send instruments by air freight, the same day that you fly. The air freight guys simply seem to take the job more seriously. (YMMV)
