I went through that with my girlfriend of 5 years. We split and it took me 5 months to recover. It was rough because I didn't fall out of love with the girl I proposed to. But like you said, things change and I couldn't be with the girl in front of me even when she looked just like the girl I loved. I notice it has been six months for you. I hope it has been ample time for you to accept your choice to stay or leave, and to manage the consequences. Just know I understand. ((hug))
