This watercolor is about the size of a business card - 3 1/2 inches x 2 inches (give or take). I've been painting and drawing quite small lately. One reason I suppose is that I like the intimacy of such a small piece. A smaller piece encourages the viewer to step closer and really examine the details. I've never painted really large paintings but this is one of the smallest paintings I've ever done.
