@oaktubs And concerning Sikth and Iron Maiden, they are two bands (more Sikth than Maiden) that I've tried to like but I just can't; I recognize the talent, but I don't feel like listening to it. The other band I really like is The Mars Volta and they seem to have the same divide between people that love them and people that don't. Not really trying to talk smack to your not talking smack; I think this whole not clicking thing is just music in general.

@oaktubs I definitely understand what you are saying, but I feel that whole "want to like, but can't like" thing towards bands that have singers that don't actually sing but do the whole growling thing instead (I know these guys do a little, it's the whole songs of it I can't take) because I've tried for quite a while to just listen to them in hopes that it will just click one day.
