Just a quick look at the E-111 Hammond organ. I'll go into more detail about the parts and workings of a Hammond Tone Generator in the next videos plus little tips and tricks on customizing the sound.

For more information on the proper care, moving and other information, I recommend the http://www.dairiki.org/HammondWiki/ site. Lots of great information and links and troubleshooting tips. Remember...Hammond organs can kill you!!! read up a little before messing with stuff. I also recommend Goff Professional http://www.goffprof.com/ they are amazingly helpful and fast at getting parts out in the mail..plus they have a real nice T-shirt for sale :) Tour of my M-111A, L-111 and A-100 to come next.

  • L-100 is a GREAT organ too!!! Same organ Keith Emerson used on stage he used to do acrobatics with since the tone generator isn't suspended by springs.

If you are going to restore it, while your in there and have it apart...get the foldback kit for the L-100! Just do a search. The L-100 is by far the best organ (besides the Prorta-B and Northern Chops) to bring to gigs. Get a leslie Cabinet and adjust the overdrive and percussion and you'll be amazed what that L-110 can do!!!!

  • Shoutin music at 3:57 lol

  • What hardware store did you get the cord from? My H's cord is cracking badly, and I can't seem to find any cords.

  • Great. I like what I hear. My E112 is dead at the moment; Tubes and other things need to be fixed. I finally got the scanner bearings quiet. I had to clean it and lube. My friend gave it to me. It has all original parts. All the tubes are original Hammond tubes from the factory. However the 6267's are bad. I ordered new ones. He threw away the pedals! I had to get another set! Keep playing and thx for showing how mine should sound! Tell me about the mods! I want to do that too!

  • I just picked up an L111 , gonna restore it back to its former glory.

  • very cool video!

i dont understand why somebody rated it 2/5

    its 5/5 to me

  • Excellent video. I picked up an L100 recently. Needs a bit of work. But it's great seeing video's on the inside of the organ. Thx
