I would like to see a cryengine tutorial that allowed the user to start from scratch:
void >> room/floor (not terrain yet) >> light ( control of interior light quality and shadowing! vsm shadows? pcf shadows? self shadowing softness control? with custom light? Not default daylight cycle ) >> import maya character asset into this room >> trigger for characters animation >> publish!
seems simple but such a tut that brings the engine down to what a basic 3d editing package achieves doesnt exist?

But really, your tutorials are brilliant! Thanks to you, I can finally make an amazing first-person shooter. When it's done, I'll record the gameplay in FRAPS and upload it to Youtube. Also, another few things I want to learn; people talking in-game when not in cutscenes, putting in voice acting, subtitles, custom sound effects (I want players to hear my main character groaning in pain - voiced by me - when they should find cover), etc. Please do all of this, too!
