@metadyneman Oh, OK. Thanks for that

What are the dimensions of your layout? I am building in the front of my house, we'll see if the track stays in place, kids might try to steal it, must use glue! My area is 19' x 9' 9". I am already planning a 40 foot extension to the back yard. tee hee hee

@citytransportinfo It's not that bad in winter either. If you get a string of clear frosty days and a nice warm shed to sit in, It's just as much fun as it is in the summer! Incidentally another EMU has arrived on the line since this was filmed. New film colming soon.

Where did you get the Chocolate and Cream model from? What code is it and how much does it cost?
Great video too

@tpxpress I bought it on eBay secondhand for £45. The code number is R2644 and I believe it is now discontinued

As I mentioned before, you inspired my garden layout. I tried to put a link to some pictures, but you tube doesn't allow links in comments. If you go to thetraingeekboy on that flickr place you can see pictures of my bench work so far. Thanks so much for mental nudge in the right direction.

@traingeekboy I'm glad it has inspired you to get into the "great outdoors". I think if I had an indoor layout again I'd have to take over a room in the house to do it. Anything smaller than my garden, I would never be able to cope with the lack of space!

The blue and grey 4-cep teamed up with the 2-epb reminds me of the ramsgate-charing cross #62 via chatham & dartford 17. 18 service in the 70's that i used to catch from whitstable to dartford on a friday . it some times also had a battery unit on it in the summer. as ever a great vid'

@heezabirddog I'm glad it brings back memories. It's similar but not the same as the time when I first moved from London to the South Coast. On the West Coastway line out of Brighton at peak times they would stick a 2-HAP on the front of a 4-CIG or 4-VEP which was similar to what you have described. The Central Division of SR as it was in those days had an allocation of BEPs and CEPs and I always used to head for the corridor 2nd for a nice comfy compartment.
