This video describes how to clean and fill technical pens such as Koh-I-noor's Rapidiograph and Rapidiosketch pens. The video talks about care and maintenance of the pens as well as ink choices and cleaning. Brought to you by Art Trader Magazine!
@Metalcortaku Barely. The nib is the only technical part of the pen. You save about £3 or £4 buying just the nib. If I was in that situation, I would likely replace the whole thing. Particularly if the body was starting to show signs of wear and tear!
@5:20 They're not made by rapidograph, they're made by Rotring, Rapidograph being the model (just like car parts aren't made by Fiesta, but Ford, as an example). Just thought I'd clear that up.
@raspberrysparkle If you can't get them to work, you can just replace the nibs instead of the whole pen. It's still expensive, but far less so than buying a new pen altogether. Good luck with that.
