From the 1987 film Hachiko monogatari (a.k.a. Hachi-ko). Wonderful movie that tells the true story of an Akita's devotion to his master. Hollywood did a remake (called Hachiko: A Dog's Story) starring Richard Gere which has been released in Japan. I comes out in the U.S. on December 18, 2009.
Song is Bittersweet, by Within Temptation.

About Hachikō on Wikimedia:
In 1924, Hachikō was brought to Tokyo by his owner, Hidesamuroh Ueno (上野英三郎), a professor in the agriculture department at the University of Tokyo. During his owner's life, Hachikō saw him off from the front door and greeted him at the end of the day at the nearby Shibuya Station. Even after Ueno's death in May 1925, Hachikō returned every day to the station to wait for him, and did so for the next 10 years.

i just want to share this
yesterday my dog got hit by a car when he was walking with my dad it was a very hard impact and it wasn't looking good at all but the driver just drove through, so we brought him to the animal rescue operation department but they couldn't do anything but he was looking a bit better and his skull wasn't broken, so we had to go back home an they would call us they next day how he was, but quickly they said he died,
RIP 'Panter' i will love you forever, i wont forget you!
