Peace possible: Arab-Jewish love breaks stereotypes

It is a story of love between divided peoples. While it isn't illegal for Jews and Arabs in the Middle East to marry, it is seen as taboo. But as RT's Paula Slier finds out, there are times when love can triumph over any kind of social barrier.

In Islam, The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), had wives who came from different religions. One of his wives was Jewish. This set an example showing that, in Islam, you can marry anyone you want. just as long as they convert ti Islam.(FYI. Other religions require the same thing as well before 2 people marry. so don't start judging Islam.) I wish this family happiness and i hope that this so-called "Taboo" to be erased from our cultural ideologies.

There was no conflict between muslims jews and christians all cousins to each others before zionisim came

@sunyypony stop talking about things you dont know. you said "True judaism doesn't even Allow your wife to convert". We don't allow people to convert for love but if somebody really wanted to convert to Judaism for the right reason we allow them. I have a woman from Thailand living in my house who just converted. And my friend just married a Colombian woman who just converted. So please don't talk about thing you know nothing of.

you probably know that muslims believe that everyone is born a muslim, and you need women o breed.

so he didnt want the other religions to reproduce, to bear children...

he also gave some disturbing sermons about killing infidels and bringing about islamic rule through genocide and terror.

i told other imams about this, and they all, to one degree or another supported him, that is what lead me down the road to leave islam, because it is not a religion of peace.

@Mikeybetts i don't mean to sound rude, but i didn't understand what you meant by "islam should only have women and that will make others die out." please explain properly what you were trying to say because it really didn't make any sense.

@leedaomillz True judaism doesn't even Allow your wife to convert. That's why they call themselves the "chosen" people and there are so few of them. Its a matrilineal religion.

i have done research, i'm an ex-muslim, my imam regularly explained this, that only islam should have women and that will make all the others die out.

@dakulol not everyone follows the taliban. i have relatives who converted to Christianity and they live in the Middle East in a mostly Muslim neighborhood....and....they're alive. lol. but i do wish you and your wife happiness and a long marriage. :)
