The Parallel guide system from Festool is perfect for cutting sheet goods down to precise size, saving time, energy and material waste. The Parallel guide set is the perfect complement for the Festool TS 55 or TS 75 Plunge cut saws.

  • its about time america joined the rest of the world in metric measurement. its superior in so many ways. all multiples. all interchangable, volume measurements are relevant to and correlate with mass measurements. and so on and so fourth.

    i mean, feet? gallons? inches?

you have to work out fraction equations? metric is all decimals. you dont have a quarter. you have 0.25

thats easier to do maths on than fractions.

  • Best parallel guide video I've seen. Thx

  • excellent demo for an excellent product.

  • @urbanecowboy99 You know that you don't have to calibrate it every time you use it, right?

  • Contact Great Western Saw for more festool products. or info on this product.

  • niiiiiice :D

  • @MrMeanderthal well i do work with it... i'm also a builder. so i also work with measurements all day. theres no real difference in the two for what we do. a system should not be decided on whats better for builders. the metric system is a logical and modern system that is far superior in a number of ways to the standard system.

why dont you tell me the weight of one cubic inch of water, and what fraction of a gallon that is.

its all perfectly easy with metric. whats that all abooot

  • @tubestick00 watch some videos on the metric system? I'm Canadian, we've been on metric for 40+ years.. I'm also a builder and use measurements all day long..machining was usually done using decimal inches.. 1/100, 1/1000 etc.. over fractions before metric came along however most every other trades used fractions, and that is for a very good reason.. it''s more a flexible, better system over all.. BTW, the only people who argue metric is "better" are people who don't work with it.

  • @MrMeanderthal any other questions you ask?? what a smart ass.

can you not see that 4/12ths of an inch is as much splitting it into three parts as sayin 4/12ths of a centimetre? its 0.33333 reccuring of an inch. even when machining engine parts, you only need to work to thousanths of a millimetre.

your original statement implies the metric system is flawed because you cant divide 10 by 3 perfectly. this is ridiculous. you should watch some videos on the metric system.

  • @tubestick00 typo 4/12ths

  • @tubestick00 that would be 3/12ths.. look on any common rafter square and you will find fractions 1/8ths and 1/16ths on one side and 1/10ths and 1/12ths on the other.. any other questions?

  • @MrMeanderthal is that your arguement? divide an inch ito three equal parts einstein..
