actually I was just seeing how close a shot I could get with the camera. The camera can acpture 1080i HD video and you can see the hairs on the mosquitos back! The youtube compresses the video too much so it's not noticable.

Thats a hell of a camera you got there. How did you get the mosquito to stay while you put your hand near it? Usually they'd fly away.

I had clapped my hands on it because it was buzzing by head. But it did not die, it just seemed to be dazed. I thought it would fly off, because it's wings seemed to be ok, but it did'nt. BTW: I let it go free.
