  • Do we have any eveidence with regards to how many men on the ship were not rowers? In Homer, the Phaeician's take 52 rower's, yet their ships require no helmsman, being steered by the Gods.

    Was just wondering because this could shed some light on the authenticity of the Cicones episode in the Odyssey. Thankyou.
