This video I made in April 2004 when I was visiting 3 friends in Perth (Western Australia). You can enjoy my trip I made from the railway station of Mosman Park (a suburb of Perth) to Fremantle (also known as Freo). In this video you will see the port of Fremantle. I will also present you a slideshow of Fremantle soon.

Because of the big value of memory I didn't put music in the background - so you can listen to the original sound ;o)

  • Thanks for the video. My childhood house is in the first few frames-behind the service station. The station is Victoria Street - the street I lived on in the 70's to 90s. The hill in the distance is call Buckland Hill - but we used to call it the Monnie - cos it had a monument on it - the one you see in the video. They used to be army fields and there are tunnels there (probably closed off now). It's less than 10 mins drive to Freo, about 20 mins to Perth & 2 mins to famous Cottesloe beach.

  • the best place in the world

  • E' un bel video :-)

    Complimenti!

    L'Australia e' meravigliosa!

    Saluti dall'italia!

  • I was in freemantle in 1982 .With the U.S. Marines.I met a lady name trish Wewrote back and forth alot.Any ideas how to find her??

  • Yeah, right Victoria Street ... hehe, just when I watched the video again ... at 1:42 ... this noise wasn't a bird. You must imagine it ... I was walking with the cam and didn't see to where I am walking ... so I walked right into the trashbin ... so good advice: never film and walk around ;o)

  • It's called Victoria St Stantion so close enough.

It's not THAT far, though. Haha.

  • well, the station you see in the beginning of this video ;o)
