What makes gay marriage sick? What is sick about two loving people wanting to declare to the world that they plan on being with each other for the rest of their lives? That's a loving, strong commitment, and gay people actually want to make it!

What makes it shameful and disgraceful except that certain parts of society believe that it is wrong? Didn't people used to think interracial unions were shameful too? but the color of skin just means that some people tolerate UV radiation better.

@deedeebird74 God does love you, yet, it is not right in America to take away another freedom of religion, to go into a church and tell them to cross out words in the bible is not freedom of religion, If I find a church that I don't agree with, I go to one that I do, I don't sue them because they have differences of opinion, or force them to do things my way. OR I search the scriptures and see if I need to make changes in myself if that is the God I want to serve.

what ever happened to freedom of religion? Let them start their own religion if they want to change the bible, I wouldn't want to be a preacher that is forced to go against Gods will, it's one thing to expect civil equality, but it's another thing to take away another Americans freedom of religion, If someone doesn't agree with a religion than go to another church or start your own, that is what America is founded on.

A Gay couple saved my straight life last year and I've since saved them, not through religion, but through human compassion.

You religious nutters don't realise what your divisive hatred does to people, but I can tell you for a fact, all you do is 'increase' Gay peoples desire to have equality and what really irks you, is that there are no prayers loud enough to stop that.

Judges do not represent a majority. They represent timeless knowledge. They have terms for life so that the majority cannot pressure them.

There were judges before there were kings, and far before presedents.

What is apropriate? What is normal? Does a nation even have a heart?

Also, where the hell do you get your bible quotes? In Leviticus, it was a mortal speaking. Jesus said not to look at your neighbor's wife with lust in your eye, thus making lust a sin. Never said anything about husbands.
