... The handle is squeezed by your hand when it grips skin ( think about squeezing the brakes on a bicycle) You only pull the handle down when you want to turn the unit off and retract the calipers. Hope this clarifies it a little bit better :)
Nice idea, I like it. I wonder if pulling down that multipurpose handle will be easy when the device is gripping some of your skin.
What about placing it on the main part of the body and pushing down to measure, then providing some grip so the user can pull it out of measurement mode?
