  • Everyone needs to chill out. I think this is a great idea. It does get the camera more out of your line of vision. If you were to get into a serious wreck and that tiny piece of foam would make a difference, I think you would be screwed anyway. Good job Wilsonrider69!!

  • Thank you!

  • OMG.. you've actually seriously compromised the entire integrity of the helmet!.. Please atleast post a disclaimer. Has this helmet been crashtested after this procedure to make sure it actually does its primary job?

  • Putting a camera in your helmet is not safe....happy?

  • Yes this ruins the strength of the helmet but no-one is forcing you to do it, so if you want to risk it then go for it, if not then a decent bullet cam or similar will cost you quite a lot.

My cam is inside the helmet behind the visor and modifys the helmet in no way at all but I had to use a camera with much lower quality (about mobile phone video maybe a bit better) and cost me £9 total.

So, risk it for good quality or not, its your choice. He made his choice so stop moaning at him for it

  • that's what I said but he deleted my post. death awaits you fool. you need to take this video down before someone sues you. I'm flagging it.

  • Wow, this person is an idiot... good luck surviving a crash you tard.

  • nice job mate... how much did it cost to do this whole thing... if over 300 bucks then maybe just get the procam

  • JUst a little note for the folks that think this is so unsafe.... Alot of moto helmets these days are built with collapsable face gaurds because tests have proven that it's better to get a busted face than a broken neck which is sure to happen with a frontal impact with a big bar 5" in front of your face. Best thing is to see whats in front of you and not to hit it!!

  • You whiners crack me up!! This is the best way I've seen as far as visibility of the rider, room in the helmet and plain ol good looks.... I ride with a skull cap anyways and a helmet cam is the only reason I'd were a full face helmet. Kudos to you Mr. Wilson.... I'm ordering my Fulmer helmet and V570 today!!

  • I know :)

I meant "put a bullet cam on the helmet in such a place as it's not in your field of view". At no point did I suggest your camera is in your field of view (I'm not that daft lol). What I meant was there's alternative options to cutting up a piece of safety equipment ;)

As I also said though, it's your head, so do what you like with it ;)

  • its not in the eye view, its under, its like where your mouth is lol

  • U did a great job!

  • Other than changing your helmet's integrity, this was an excellent idea. You took your time and did it well. Nice job!

I think you should add "this may reduce the effectiveness of your helmet during a crash" to the description. There are alot of idiots out here who might not understand the consequences of modifying a helmet.
