This must be one of those overdubs the "Picks" did about a decade or so back. Nice arrangement for once, certainly not as awful as some of the ones they did, but they are up a little too heavy in the mix.

I first heard the earliest version of this by Buddy over 50 years ago. It remains as fresh for me now as it did then and sends shivers down my spine to this day. Oh, to be a young boy today hearing this for the first time,

re mix the orginal had no backing another norman petty idea but its better then the original it deca would not let the crickets sing on it not even on the orginal that`l be the day or flip side which was looking for some on to love which coral released with the crickets backing but buddy fell out with norman petty for two reason`s one was over marie elena the other norman wanted his name added to all his song holly wrote thats why petty was never mentioned in film or stage show
