A simple Servo motor controller using the Basic Stamp 1. This is a instructional video on the technical reference site DI Tech DIcoded at tech.texasdi.org. The project was put together from instructions I found on the web.
Addenda.
I did get one sarcastic comment (deleted) stating that this was not a linear potentiometer... that it was a rotary potentiometer. Perhaps I misspoke in the short video. The potentiometer is a LINEAR TAPER potentiometer as opposed to an AUDIO TAPER potentiometer. If i undertand correctly, it has to do with how the resistance goes up as the knob is turned. In a linear taper potentiometer, each degree that you turn the dial changes the resistance a set amount. In an AUDIO taper potentiometer, the resistance goes up (or down) logarithmically as the dial is turned.
me too.
