Teardrop on the Fire łł Erik Lensherr/Charles Xavier - Slash AU

HD is your friend ;) This AU was inspired by the canon story from the comics of Erik and Magda.

Erik is the newest patient at the Westchester Mental Hospital. No one knows anything about him, other than the fact that he has night terrors and brief hallucinations. Charles Xavier is Erik's doctor. He realizes the man is refusing to eat, slowly getting sicker and as he talks to him, he grows fascinated and wants to help him. One night, Erik is having night terrors again and Charles, seeing no other way to help him, uses his power to calm his mind. The next day Erik confronts him about it, telling him he shouldn't hide his gift and reveals to him that he has his own ability. With Erik's memories now in his mind, Charles explores them, only to find out that Erik had a wife named Magda. She was attacked and their house was burned down and in his rage, Erik killed all the people responsible, but Magda was badly hurt in the whole ordeal and died. Charles comes to Erik, telling him he knows everything and that he should fight, not let his guilt eat away at him and hurt himself even further. But Erik is getting sicker and in his desperation, Charles picks up a few medical supplies and runs away with Erik.
A few months pass and the two are living in solitude. Erik is getting better and the two are happily in love.
