Actually it is good because the Prophet gave it away in His lifetime and did not tell the companions to discard it after his death. Muslims have held on to it for centuries and do not worship it but rather respect it as they do the black stone or Holy Ka^ba. May Allah increase our knowledge.ameen

Salam. Why is it kept in what looks like a cheap jewellery box? shouldn't it be preserved in an airtight container. You should surrender it to the proper authorities to be shared and viewed by the rest of the Muslims in this world.

It is not in my hands brother, and the man in charge of it has since died. I have tried to contact his family but no luck. I hope it is well preserved so that we can all benefit from it in sha Allah. THere are also HAirs in Kashmire, India, Pakistan,Turkey, Egypt and Lebanon as for as i know. Hope we can see it again.
