The sketches at the beginning looked cute. I guess that was what the boy and the blob did when they weren't off adventuring.

maaann seems that games with a little boy and great frame rate is meant to be a good game always.add also great soung and gameplay and level design..and there u have it..a boy and his blob.....limbo....shadw of darkness....have that connection..i said about frame rate and i just remembered a pc adventure game with one of the best,...if not the best animations ever...the abbey.

@Mysteryblocks If I recall correctly, cotton candy clone, bubblegum bouncer, cola bubble, cream cannon (that sounds so wrong now that I think about it), banana anvil and strawberry shield. And yes, pear parachute.
No idea what the robot's supposed to be, though the jellybean's purple so... grape?

Sadly it doesn't look like the original designer of the game had anything to do with this version. I didn't even see David Crane mentioned, he gave us some great classic games including the original Pitfall! for the Atari 2600. I loved playing the original and its sequel for Gameboy. Very good looking graphics and it looks alot more understandable controls.
