  • Hi Everyone,

  • hi guys! love your playing... I was just wondering if you could tell me what the time signiature of the bit at the beginning of that tune is?? is it 9/8??

im so confused, would love to know more about rhythms but at the moment can only really do 2/4 and 6/8,,

  • Hi Patchbod,

Sorry to take so long to get back (I didn't realise this comment was there).

The beginning bit follows a two bar pattern, so the first bar is 6/8 and the second is 8/8, 6/8, 8/8 etc.

It's characteristic of Tania's compositions to use unusual rhythms.

    Best wishes,

    Ruth

  • Its a beautiful work ladys, hermoso! gracias x compartir.

  • Very nice! I loved the mandolin work -- that is an interesting mandolin as well. But I also found the guitar effort --esp the runs between chords very interesting-- I like to contrast them with bluegrass for example. Delightful video!

  • Hermoso!

  • This is wonderful! Much more inspiring than hearing people plunk through Mozart transcriptions for these instruments. Thanks for sharing!
