I have DW5000 double pedals and I am having a hard time playing double bass, I just cant get the back & forth motion down. I can do it really fast for a few seconds and then I get really inconsistant. I am willing to learn, does ANYONE have ANY suggestions???

Sometimes it's easier to do it faster than slower :P It's like falling down, the only way to go is fast :)

It's all about practice.It does come eventually.I've recently started incorporating double bass drum technique into my live playing and once you lock it in,it's a great feeling of achievment.When you've been trying to get to a certain level for so long and you finally get there.It's having the confidence to try it live.

I have been playing for about 1 and half years now, and still can’t get myself together on the double bass. It’s so hard, cz I can barely play the same everyday..it sucks...

Was wondering if you new how to basically make a pdp double pass pedal better. . . sounds crazy . . I am dead broke . and only have that pedal I think its terrible to play with. . very uneven. When I play with pedals at the store I kill it. . It is frustrating . . just curious if anyone has any thoughts..
