  • WHERE IN THE HELL DID YOU GET THIS ?!?!?! Do You Know How SUPER-RARE this is???

  • This is a very rare piece, and shows how awesome this version was (and why it should NOT have been wiped).

Wikipedia states that this episode aired on February 14, 1972.

  • @oldertvshowswerebetr Because by this time CBS had pretty much given up wiping game show episodes (unless of course, the game show producers gave them permission to do so), unlike NBC and ABC.

  • I dont understand - even given the expensive videotape, how is it ABC wiped out most of Password, yet we have all the CBS match game episodes from the same era?

  • Is Sheila MacRae any relation to Gomer Pyle's girlfriend Louann (Elizabeth MacRae)? And Sheila's daughter is Meredith MacRae, I believe.

  • Someone flubbed the light cue at 0:07 on the sign.

  • @GarfieldnPyramid Yes and I watched one of the ones at UCLA about a year ago. The celebrities on it were Betty White and James Shegita. As for the year and week, I'm not sure, but I recommend checking at Aaron Handy's ABC Password fansite.

  • Mrs. Brown was my teacher that year when this episode was on.

  • We all know the story the story of how Lucy and Desi knew the value of not erasing tapes!

  • It was a shame when ABC erased most of the 70s version of Password. It was a very successful revival until the format was changed to an all-celebrity format. The ratings never recovered from a huge loss and the show was cancelled in June 1975.

  • Marty Milner,,,so smart and so hot!

  • Because you always need moe koolaid
