Catalonian authorities gained so much control over the population by dramatically changing laws and regulations in favor of Catalan speaking people. These undoubtedly violates the vital rights on the rest of Spaniards residing within the region that are guaranteed in a democratic system. But these authorities had the support from the central government which its majority were from the socialist party. Now politics are changing and it's the great opportunity many have been waiting for.
