Election Day 2008 - NYC

I was fortunate enough to be in New York City for Election Day 2008. This is a taste of our adventures in the Big Apple as the results came in for the Presidential Election.

I tried to hold off on being too overt about telling people who to vote for before the election, but I think its pretty obvious (especially after this video) that I am a very strong Obama supporter. I have really loved this man since I first heard him speak 4 years ago. I am thrilled that he is going to be the next President. But then again, the video shows that.

Totally wish I could have been there! Absolutely amazing and epic! Fun fact... being in Europe before the election was a little scary. I was a Californian. On November 5, it was like a lightswitch was flipped and people were excited and proud to talk to an American. It was amazing. The world views us differently already, and it's because of the night you experienced in New York!
