your analysis seems to be that he should be discredited for not repeating "the party line," opting to speak from his conscience instead of from a script. and that seems shameful to me. seems he just doesn't want to damn people who invest in companies that create real jobs and pay gov salaries. finally i think the race issue here you emphasize: criticizing obama's tactics can be seen through prisms other than race, if you'd ever care to experiment.

You don't get it. A person who says they represent the President doesn't do that. Period. What I get into was the psychological reason why Booker did it. The Crab barrel mentaiity has long been a problem with one black person to another. In other words, "If I can't make it, you can't either."
