In this video you can see how you can transfer the very small details from a highres digital sculpt to a new one and create a Mudbox scene out of it. First, a very low poly cage is created in TopoGun and then TopoGun is used to create a highres subdivision surface that "wraps" on the original highres mesh using a novel algorithm. All the small details are recovered in the new sudivision surface. Then, the subdivision surface is exported to Mudbox and voila, you have a retopologized scene out of the original sculpt. This is great for those who create quick concept sculpts (from a subdivided box for example) but later want to continue their work on a retopologized mesh. TopoGun is compatible with Zbrush too. Check out TopoGun's official website: www.topogun.com.
