@bluenazz i remember that 'teen' magazine. i read it religiously because it was the source of all the beatles latest, lol

@bluenazz 25, 30 bucks for The Last Pogo (you're right about it's title!) and it almost always has a corner clipped from when it was deleted. Not bad for a 4-buck record.

@GuessImJustASpudBoy Was it "The Last Pogo" LP? I didn't know that it was valuable. Mind you, I don't have a copy.

@bluenazz I own that Drastic Measures record! Weren't they on that live compilation record dealing with the closure of the Horseshoe Tavern in Dec. 1978? It's a red record, another one of these 4-buck Records on Wheels Yonge & Wellesley deals and worth a small fortune today. Damn it, I have a whopper of a cold this week and I can't remember that record's title! And this is just after reading "Treat Me Like Dirt" by Liz Worth too! Looking forward to your Nash The Slash collection.
Don't know any of these Craig. It is a bit questionable that a group is mainly famous for "The Teddy Bear's Picnic"

@Dedicated1860 Jim, I think there were a lot of very "questionable" records during the New Wave era (:-> That one was an underground hit in Toronto, for some odd reason.

The De Franco family was huge I understand. It is amazing how much Tiger Beat / Teen Beat promoted teenybopper bands. Just an amazing double neck on that Doucette LP. I just checked out Drastiic Measures and there is a few songs that some girl posted. She talks about them and is also going to post the whole LP. They actually sound pretty good. Very cool post Craig.
This reminds me of the 'Long Thread' that went around the VC. Excellent job~

@Paneeks1960 Rob, my female cousin used to buy Tiger Beat and 16 Mag back in the 60's. I used to look at them and LMAO. They once covered bands like the Beatles and Herman's Hermits but then they went for a younger crowd featuring Dino, Desi, and Billy, Bobby Sherman, etc.
