Poncho Sanchez Mini-Doc

This is a 12-minute mini-doc excerpt from a 60-minute documentary released in 2008 called "Poncho Sanchez, Keeper of the Flame". Principle shooting with the Poncho Sanchez Latin Jazz Band started in 2002 and lasted through 2005. The final edit was done in 2006. The project sat in hiatus until it's 2008 soft release date.

In 2009, Poncho Sanchez and project director/editor Duane Conder were asked to speak at the Downtown Film Festival in Los Angeles and this 12-minute cut was part of the presentation along with a screening of the concert DVD "Poncho @ Montreux."
