NOT at all they are doing what they are paid to do, or they can sweep streets and be a HERO.
What job gives you 4 days off a week ? How many fires are there in a day?
Week? Month? EXTREMELY OVER RATED.
These videos make it sound as though there are FIRES every hour on the hour.
Fact is there may be two a month, sometimes on every two weeks.
There are not enough fires they have to create them to keep busy

It was a controlled burn of a 100 year old farmhouse. The firemen spent most of the day starting smaller fires inside the house and putting them out. After they'd pretty well trashed the inside they finally just let the house burn to the ground. The guys at the beginning of the video were just posing for pictures on the front porch of the burning house. Thanks for your interest.
