"So honouring the mawlid, and taking it as a festive season (mawsam) which some of the people have done, there is a great reward in it due to the good intention and the honouring of the Messenger (sallallaahu `alaihi wasallam) because of what I have previously stated to you - that it is possible that something be good for some of the people and be denounced/considered to be ugly by the strict believer"
Lesson: NOT to argu with the ignorant about Maulid
"And like this is what some of the people have innovated, either in opposition to the Christian celebration of the birthday of Jesus, or out of love for the Prophet (sallallaahu `alaihi wasallam) and in honour of him. And Allaah will reward them for this love and ijtihaad, but NOT FOR THE BID’AH of taking the day of the birth of the Prophet (sallallaahu `alaihi wasallam)"
"And you will find the majority of these (who celebrate the Maulid) in ardent desire of these sort of innovations - alongwith what they have of good intention and ijtihaad for which reward is hoped for - but you would find them feeble in following the command of the Messenger, that which they have been commanded to be eager and vigorous in, indeed they are of the position of one who adorns the Mushaf but does not read what is in it or reads what is in it but does not follow it"
"Rather this sort of thing was done by the Christians who took the days in which great events happened to Jesus as eeds, or by the Jews. Indeed the Eed is a legislated law, so what Allaah legislates is followed, otherwise do not innovate in this religion that which is not part of it And like this is what some of the people have innovated, either in opposition to the Christian celebration of the birthday of Jesus, or out of love for the Prophet"
if these ppl really love ALLAH and his messenger (alhe salam) then they must adhere to shria..the first ppl who celebrate this day are the pakistanies..BUT amazing they have no sharia in there country and the majority even dont pray.except JUMA (Fridy).. if they love RASULULLAH(alihe salam) then they must judge by they law that RASULULLAH came with( the sharia). all other acts of them r contrary to islam..ask them wat is ALLAH they dont know..ask about mohammed they know.. :D amazing, subhanla
may ALLAH guide these brothers who combine different parts of defferent vedios and confuse the muslim youth.. this is a serios fitna may ALLAH protect us from this ...and lead us to the straight path,,, ameeen ya rabul alameen..
Mohammed ( alihe salam) was a prophet(a teacher) to us from ALLAH..to tell us about ALLAH and his law..so he did..and we are not christian and jews to clebrate his birthday as chrismas and so on...
@afeefmirza Maybe your right, i dont know. If it is bid'ah then is there such thing as bid'ah hasanah? the proof for this is usually the 2 athans on friday prayer introduced by i think Uthman and the congregational prayers of taraweeh introduced by Umar. All these groups confuse me seriously but keep one thing in mind if all these practices of sufis is bidah, shirk etc then 1000 years of islamic scholars have been mushrikeen i just cant comprehend that. @GnosticReality I need where I can read what they wrote after the names. Mere names are not enough unfortunately. The way you speak...subhanallah... is ironical ... it's a paradox really...you claim to love the prophet to the limit of innovating in his name.... but you don't reflect his mannerisms. It's really sad.:-(
@GnosticReality Shaykh ibn Taymiyyah also denounced this innovation. But you said he approved of it. Can I know where I can read what he wrote? Or the other scholars who you said approved of this?
@GnosticReality We don't have to do things based on Math. We have to do things based on what our Prophet commanded us to do. Why didn't the prophet tell us to commemorate his birthday every year if it was so "blessed"? Do you think you know better ways of getting closer to Allah than our prophet?
