althought it is a fun idea, and i emphasize fun, i can't stop thinking that serious scratch head would rather buy two turntables and a decent mixer with one hell of a adjustable crossfader. Which would nearly come down to the same costs, considering the fact that you need two ipads...

Yeah, the real equipment is better (I GET THAT!), but people fail to see the convenience of MOBILITY to be able to practice your skills anywhere without breaking your back. How many DJs do you know that can set up shop without a van or truck.
