2002 WH2 Holden Statesman
L76 converted from LS1.
Tremec T56 manual converted from 4L60e automatic.
Standard engine, 25% underdrive balancer.
MAFless tune, twin 3" exhaust.

  • I did all the work myself, modified the automatic loom and retuned it, so the cost for me wasn't significant. All up it cost me $4000 using a second hand gearbox, but all new parts apart from that including a tex z-grip clutch and braided lines.

  • hello i have the same exact car well its a 2001 chevrolet caprice, i have found the T56 in a wrecked camaro what do i need to swap it ..LS1 V8

  • The loom may have a few different plugs on the Camaro. Does the Camaro have traction control? I'm pretty sure the Camaro runs an oil level sensor aswell which your Caprice will not have. You might need to get the interior components (shifter, knob, pedals) from an 04 Pontiac GTO, as I'm not sure if this is the same in the Camaro.

    Hopefully that helps, and sorry I can' t be more specific but I've never seen a Camaro before :)
