Over 250 people gathered in Dumfries, Scotland to pay tribute to 100 years of Ice Hockey UK. The black tie (and kilt) gala featured the presence of the Stanley Cup - a trophy commissioned by a British Lord and manufactured in Britain - as well as major figures from British Ice Hockey's past and present. The feeling was very much one of celebrating the past, but looking towards the future growth of the sport. Paul Romanuk reports.
