Docs, what a group of "professionals". We had a GI doc who always would spell out the simple words like, EGD, he would spell out "capital E, capital G, capital D. But never words like choledochojejunostomy or gastrojejunostomy. I think he personally liked to insult us. We have a doc here in town who started off paying for her education by being an MT. When she got a breather in the ER, she would come up stairs to our department and transcribe.

One PA I have does pretty well but for one word she can't get straight, and she will say it consistently: "NoncontribuTITory."
