And so it Starts (Save me Please Prequel) 2

It was a hot day when I walked into the cool hall of my house. I dropped my bag at the front door, "I'm home." I said.
"Demi." I heard my mom say from the den. "How was your day today?" She asked with a smile across her face as she walked into the hall with me.
"it was ehh." I began walking upstairs.
"Honey, we're having guest over later on. I want you to wear your best dress." She said as she put her book down.
"Ok." I assured her. I walked into my room and fell on my stomach on the bed. Ugh, don't get me wrong I love me parents, but the only thing I would never do for them is attend another of there "parties." I mean I've been attending them for the past 17 years and let me tell you something, they are not exiting. No one there is my age, they are either too old, or too young. Whatever I guess I just have to survive a couple of more parties until I'm finally able to move out, but until then I'm stuck here.

The next day I arrived to school early to get a good parking space, but to my surprise everything was taken. So much for "The early bird gets the worm" I began looking for a parking space with shade when I noticed a man standing in front of his car scratching his head as he held his phone over his ear. Basically he was hogging up about half of the parking spaces with shade. I must've been more than 4 minutes until I lost my patients and got down.

"Hey!" I said as I slammed my door shut. "Are you moving anytime soon?"
He just picked up his finger telling me to wait a minute. I've waited 4 minutes already and honestly I don't think I can wait another.
"Listen, I got up pretty early to get a good parking, but guess what their taken. And this spot is the next best thing. So if you can please move your car I'd really appreciate it. Thanks." I might as well be speaking to a brick wall because he didn't even look at me. I sighed and lean against my car as I rolled my eyes.

It must have been 6 minutes until he finally hung up and looked over at me. "I'm sorry did you want something?" Seriously? Is he really asking me this? He looked behind him. "Oh I'm sorry these are reserved." He said with a smile. I could feel my face turning red from anger and my hand began to turn into a fist. His facial expression changed. "I mean except for one of course, that one is for you." He said with an innocent yes scared voice. "Thank you...uh"
"Joe." He said with a tone in his voice as he got back in his car.
"Well thank you Joe." I said as said as I got back in my car.
