  • The resistance bands provide a different type of resistance than dumbbells, so the stimulus on the muscles is different. It's not better or worse than free weights, just different. Plus, it's a common myth that you have to get sore in order to get results. Yes, you want to push it hard when you workout, but even if you don't get Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness, that doesn't mean you aren't getting results.
