What would you do if the Grocery Store shelves were empty? How would you survive? Here are some basic food storage and supply ideas that you can start without turning into a full blown "survivalist". Not that being one is such a bad idea. Part 2 will follow.

My friends keep asking me... Are you for real? You cant believe this stuff! They actually believe nothing is going to happen.

Those that are prepared MAY survive, no guarantees, those that are completely unprepared have no shot in hell.

The only question anyone should be asking themselves is this;

I get 2 options, 1, Prepared or 2) Unprepared, which would I choose? Case closed!

Most events that would demand you prepare are localized or personal: storms, blackouts, job loss, broken leg. Most folks are not prepared enough to get through these small events without hardship. As the scope of a disaster increases, frequency decreases, but even fewer people are prepared.

I agree that God will and does take care of all of us, however, I believe you missed that part that says "God helps those that help themselves".

i would say that the families that r already in the tents will more than likely survive better than some of the people making stupid remarks. even if something doesnt happen i wont have to go to the store for 1 yr and ill use that money to do something i want to do while all of the doubter are fighting to live on the high prices of food

GM took Billions in bail-out tax payer on the-hook money,and opened 7 new plants in CHINA.No unions,Chinese workers will get $100/per week as plants close in the US.yet,the media tell Americans things are getting better.Those that don't prepare,will suffer a LOT later

Thankfully as an Iowan, and small time farm as a hobby, I think that The 200 acre field, and few dozen cattle will help out a lot. Some people will say well what if they get stolen. Possible but unlikely. There are hundreds of huge farms all over with hundreds of cattle and thousands of hogs and acres of field, I think I wont be bothered AS much if at all.
