a beautiful song and vedio watched this as a kid so wonderful to hear the theme again and see my beloved model space ship take off after all these year,s again.

this was my favorite show as a kid. My kids are all grown now, but I sure wish my grand kids could see this. I know its in B/W, and you can see the wires, but good stuff sells anywhere.

Interesting launch system-for over 40 years b/4 the Discovery Channel. Ironically-in those days-horizontal launches & flying into space were more seriously considedered b/4 they went w/ vertically launched ballistic missiles.

I HAD a Fireball XL5 lunch box and thermos in 2nd grade and I could look down my nose at every other lunch box in the cafeteria!!! I guess I deserved that after having the lamest lunch box in 1st grade -- a Hector Heathcote!!! Can any of you old folks imagine having to tote that for an entire year?

Certainly the most ethereal, passionately romantic love song ever recorded for a television show. I am a devotee of hard core punk and thrash metal, but I truly am transfixed by this song. I only wish that I had the musical skill and buttery soft crooning voice to sing it up to my beloved whilst I stood beneath her window by the light of the full moon. Of course the moment that I commenced singing, she would hurl a small appliance down onto my head, but I can fantasize, can’t I?

It's fun to watch these shows again after all these years but it's this song i like the most.
