Eurovision 1976 - Yugoslavia

Bosnian group Ambasadori performing "Ne Mogu Skriti Svoj Bol" ("I Can't Hide My Pain"), the Yugoslav entry at the 1976 Eurovision Song Contest.

Another one of the year's underrated entries (along with Greece and Porugal, this certainly wan't a good year for downers - Belgium being the exception to the rule), this is still a memorable, powerful ballad with a passionate performance by singer Ismeta Dervoz-Krvavac. Note that, following this song's poor scoring, Yugoslavia went on a hiatus from the contest, from which they'd return in 1981.

People from some Western European countries comment that nowadays the system of voting is bad. I think, according to this song and its placing, many years before, the system of voting was much worse than now.

Yes, I love this song; it's so emotional and beautiful, definitely not deserving of second from last (but best to not go there). Also, as you say, a really emotional performance by Ismeta. Just beautiful, so sincere.

@oneurope vulgar voting patterns ? just because they vote for quality songs ? which is the pattern exactly ?? believe me I know the scoreboards much better than you do and the 2011 contest would have much more fair results if it was just the juries voting ! televoting once again supported all the neighbour - diaspora crap as it always does..

@jimsid1 there were "vulgar" voting pattens with Juries!! - I do suggest you look at scoreboards, specifically THIS YEARS to check out those "vulgar" patterns!

@KamejaTototo that's totally unfair....The vulgar voting patterns televoting introduced did not exist in those ages..those where the right esc ages...and yugoslavia 1976 is a nice song but nothing to write home about really..

Please bring back 100 % juries to save esc nowdays..!

koja divna pjesma,uvijek kada je slušam sjetim se srednje škole u mom zagrebu i te tople večeri,ti divni i bezbrižni dani koje nam je dao sistem velikog čovjeka, našeg komandanta,druga tita,nikada više nećemo imati tu sigurnost i taj spokoj kao tada,svi smo bili sretni u toj zemlji ,aoni koji to nisu bili ,oni su bili daleko,nesretni u živjeli u mržnji,negdje u kanadi ili tasmaniji ,sve jedno,zašto tamo nisu i ostali....
