I actually think since Geoff has stopped smoking he has gotten his range back and that fire back. He will always be one of the greatest singers/vocalists in music history.

I hit the Like button before the song even started, because I knew it was going to be awesome.

If you look at the crowd at the 3:00 mark.......you will see the one sourpuss who didn't like this song. He looks like he just ate a shit sandwich.

The only problem with the fact that this band doesnt get radio play except when they do songs that are made for the mainstream.Something tells me they tried listening to the idiot record execs when they did songs like I dont believe in love, and Silent Lucidity ,but they must have told the execs to get screwed...30 years and still going strong.Their doing something right. ..Just too bad they dont have Chris Degarmo anymore...they can use him as a lyricist

Geoff Tate is amazing!!! The guy is a real singer - he doesn´t go for the notes he knows are too high - so much better than a thousand others who goes there and just ruin the gig! Amazing voice!!!

Psh nirvana and pearl jam killed music aic had it right they were true grunge and they had power vocals and metal and etc
@aynrandgirl He has always been a bit "strained" (like there is something wrong with that), even in the prominent years, to push the same vocals live as on the album. Are you aware of the range and technique required for QR vocals? Of the few Queensryche cover/tribute bands bold enough to try, have you ever noticed how absolutely wretched they sound? It is not as simple as hitting and holding notes.
He is one of the last of that breed. Enjoy while you still can. Still amazing!

Some say Tate lost his voice. He was 50 in 2009. Let's see how's their voice when they get to 50!! This is almost like the original performance, intonation wise. I miss DeGarmo though. He has a way with guitars like I've never seen in a nother musician, and I've been one for 10+ years now! ROCK ON QUEENSRYCHE!
