Back in 1997, musical genius Artie Schroeck put a show together at Harrah's in Atlantic City honoring the music and comedic creativity of Spike Jones... This was the show opener.

  • What a fantastic revival of Spike Jones and what talented musicians in this! I wish the DVD of the whole show was available.

  • Someone gets it! So often, a band plays badly and is described as sounding "like Spike Jones." But that misses the joke completely. Spike's band always played their best, but put a clownish face on sentimental standards.
