Make your own cleansers. I use a diluted spray bottle of Dr. Bronners castile soap, baking soda,lemon juice, white vinegar. I don't think you can get any greener than that. I hope it helps. Peace & Blessings!

a cup of peroxide added to the laundry serves as a bleaching agent for whites. one cup of baking soda sufficiently cleans clothes when added to the machine. i add a cup of full-strength apple cider vinegar during the rinse. to be honest, unless you have ground-in, tough stains, laundering your clothes in plain water will get your clothes just as clean. liquid castile soap cleans dishes just fine. some of these methods may take more elbow grease, but, to me, our environment is worth it.

i make a multi-purpose cleaner using half apple cider vinegar half water in a 1-liter bottle. shake well. it cleans mirrors, glass, counters, toilets, spot-cleans linoleum, exterior hand rails and gutters. it eats through buildup. i make a paste out of baking soda and water to scour the tub and shower. virgin olive oil with pure orange essential oil added (enough to detect the citrus aroma) polishes all of our wooden furniture and leaves the rooms smelling naturally fresh!
