@hoosiergambler the only thing broken about western marriages is they way most people approach them. it's no wonder there are so many divorces when you have people who put more thought and effort into the huge and luxurious wedding than they do into prepping to be with someone supposedly for the rest of their lives. They come into marriages with several past horribly broken relationships, poor choices that have led them to lots of suffering, etc.

@hoosiergambler you are the one who is blind. how can you judge something without emotion? and just b/c you use emotion doesn't mean you aren't thinking for yourself.  that is exactly what I'm talking about, people who don't consider ramifications before they do something. so if you are one of those people who do consider ramifications, then are you the person who considers them then does whatever you want anyway?

@hoosiergambler i would like to know where these "numbers" are coming from, b/c I have my own "numbers" and does it really matter, even if 8 out of 10 marriages in USA end in divorce, it still wouldn't change the fact one should be married before having sex and starting a family and it wouldn't change the fact that any old idiot could have sex and have a baby and being a mother has nothing to do with courage
