The Truther Girls make kombucha tea! Vickie is quite experienced, but this is my first time brewing tea. This is something I really want to do because I love kombucha but it is outrageously expensive to buy.
NOTE: Kombucha contains alcohol, so don't give it to kids.
media says 'don't get on the kombucha train!'

  • I was kind of hoping you'd be reporting on your experience with hallucinogenic mushrooms. Can you do a video on that to please? I remember my experience in the early 80's and wouldn't trade it for anything in the world.

  • the title is misleading to say the least

  • Did I miss something here? Doesn't look like any mushrooms I've seen before. Is there another video of you tripping somewhere on here?

  • please! please! no plastic is allowed for your kombucha, plastic contains chemicals that does not go well with kombucha, besides it can contaminate the scoby.

  • what if you dont have a mushroom to make your kombucha though...

  • @Caelidh -- I am a baker and pastry chef by trade, so I am well aware of what the process of fermentation is and yes it requires food for the yeast, sugar or starch (which is sugar really) is the food for the yeast. My point was TOO MUCH SUGAR is a bad idea, you don't need a LOT of sugar to make fermentation work... a little sugar goes a long way, and that was my point, why add all the extra sugar you don't need? yeast multiples like crazy with just a small amount of sugar, more is not better.

  • @spiritparaclete didn't you listen??? The Fungi eats the sugar.. it is fermentation!.. that is what happens.. you feed it sugar to make the process work!..

  • lol, your pot leaf magnets

  • That is so not a fungus nor a magic mushroom lol i just came here to trip moar ballz

  • Please, no more posts. The overly tweezed eyebrows scare me. It's not a mushroom, but a cap made of yeast and bacteria, not fungi.

  • you only use glass jar no plastic please,
